*Big Bows & Tippy Toes

For as long as I can possibly remember, I have wanted to have my very own boutique. It has always been in a corner of my mind, but never taken too seriously. A week and one day ago, I acted on impulse and started my own business. Blame it on New Years, that I am pregnant, or just on the fact that I am plain ol' crazy.....but I did it. I decided on my store's name and had every license, tax number and permit possible within a day. Just like that. Done. I am a business owner.

Now I am just impatiently awaiting the arrival of my first delivery of inventory that I ordered on that very same day. I am a ball of excitement dreaming up all of the possibilities in my future. I am also having dilemmas like: Can I or Can I Not put my 5 year old son in a tutu to model if I take the picture waist down??!! hahahaha.....Will I cause psychological problems later in life because I asked him to wear a pettiskirt and bloomers??? *sigh* Okaaaay, I know...I shouldn't, but it would be so much easier. Now, unless I give birth to a baby girl in July, I will be begging and bartering with friends with daughters so I can borrow them as models.

So there. I did it. And you know what?? It was not near as scary as I anticipated. In fact, I have not had one moment of hesitation (can't you tell) or apprehensiveness. It's full steam ahead. Next stop.....setting up the online store and finding myself a perfect space to lease. Find Big Bows & Tippy Toes on Facebook and like us so you can stay updated on our progress and developments.

Stop telling yourself reasons and/or excuses for not going after your dream or goals...no matter how absurd they seem. You are the only thing stalling your attaining it. These words I saw on Pinterest ring true and I will leave them with you:

Ciao!
